Shailaja Sajja, MASc
Shailaja is a member of the QIPCM team at TECHNA, where she leads the proposal development process and contributes to various core lab activities such as grant support, annual reporting and marketing planning.
Previously, she worked as a research engineer at Sunnybrook Research Institute, focusing on dual energy cone beam CT (DE-CBCT) techniques and implementing DE-CBCT workflows for brain radiotherapy.
She has also collaborated with JDMI, UHN, and Carestream Health on clinical validation of dual energy and digital tomosynthesis technologies for thoracic diseases in critically ill patients. This collaborative work received recognition, including a certificate of merit from the Radiological Society of North America (2015) and cum laude at the European Society of Thoracic Imaging (2016). Shailaja holds an MASc degree in electrical engineering from the University of Waterloo and has completed an internship at Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
